Inter Milan are interested in signing Tottenham defender Cristian Romero. This is understood as a financially complex move. Speaking with Sky Italy, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilo said: "It's definitely a deal we're trying to sign with the player and the club [Tottenham]. Romero, a 28-year-old defender for Tottenham, missed the end of last season due to a knee injury and received criticism from supporters during a match against his childhood club Belgrano. Inter Milan want a central defender in this transfer window with Romero as one of their targets. Club-mate Djed Spence, another focus, remains on Inter’s list along with Monaco's Vanderson and Feyenoord's Kivairo.
