Richarlison sets clear exit terms at Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has made his move criteria plain as the summer transfer window races toward its climax. The Brazil forward is pushing for a fresh start, with Spurs languishing 17th in the Premier League and 44 points behind title winners Arsenal when the final 2025 table was published.
What Richarlison wants in a new club
Richarlison’s checklist is simple: guaranteed first-team football and a side with genuine European ambitions. The 27-year-old has told his representatives he will only entertain moves to top-flight clubs competing in continental competitions. That rules out any switch to sides outside the Premier League’s top half.
Why Spurs are open to talks
Tottenham Hotspur ended last season 17th in the Premier League with 41 points from 38 games and a goal difference of minus nine. Richarlison scored 10 goals and made 11 assists across all competitions, but his contract runs until 2027 and Spurs have not yet received a formal bid. Their recent run-three wins, two losses, two draws in seven-has done little to lift the mood around the club.
The clubs circling the Spurs attacker
Richarlison has drawn interest from Ligue 1, Serie A, and La Liga sides, with French and Italian clubs leading the chase. Tottenham Hotspur are not expected to drop their £60 million valuation. Richarlison’s agent has held talks with three interested clubs, but no bid has reached White Hart Lane.
Tottenham Hotspur’s league standing (final 2025 table - new season not yet under way): 17th in Premier League, 41 pts, 10W-11D-17L from 38 games, recent form WLDWW.
